Just My Type
Just My Type by Falon Ballard
My rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
Lana is a serial monogamist, writing an online relationship and dating advice column. After her boyfriend (whom she thinks will propose) publicly breaks up with her, she learns that her first love is now in competition with her for a new assignment. Seth is a serial-dater, looking to settle down. They each have a series of tasks: Seth’s to prepare him for a real relationship, Lana’s to learn how to be alone, and we’re along for the ride of self-discovery.
This book felt like a warm hug. Lana’s road to self-reflection was well-thought-out and not overly cheesy or dramatized. All of the Bravo and other pop-culture references were so fun! I wish we had Seth’s point of view, but I really enjoyed this story even without it. Let me know if you give this one a read!
