Peppermint

Peppermint is an oil most people have experienced at some point in their lives--think toothpaste, candies, and more. This oil helps with energy, mental alertness, mood, and digestion. Quick note: don't diffuse this around kids under 12 months of age in a small enclosed space and avoid peppermint all together if you are nursing, as it could lessen milk supply!

Quick Uses

Quick Relief

Head tension? Take a few deep inhales straight from the bottle, rub a drop or two onto your temples, or place a drop on your thumb and press to the roof of your mouth to help get some relief!

Too Much Wine

Rough night? Add 15 drops of Peppermint and 15 drops of Lavender to a 10-ml roller bottle and top with your favorite carrier oil (I love fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil- you can find all of my favorite DIY supplies here). Roll onto your forehead, temples and the back of your neck.

Cool Off

Add a drop or two to a cold washcloth to boost its cooling abilities when your temperature rises!

Pesky Bugs

Add a few drops of Peppermint to some cotton balls and place in areas prone to pests.

Drink Up!

Peppermint is a perfect addition to your water, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or protein shake! A little goes a long way, so if a drop is too much for your tastes, dip a toothpick into the oil bottle and use that to stir into your favorite beverage. Peppermint is great for digestive support, a boost in energy, and to help curb cravings! Be sure to use a stainless steel or glass container if you’re adding oils to your drinks!

Stanky Breath

Add a drop or two under your tongue to help freshen your breath!

Seasonal Support

Is everything covered in pollen? Add 1-2 drops each of Peppermint, Lemon, and Lavender into an empty vegetable capsule and take as a supplement as needed. You can also add a drop or two of each oil onto a spoon, or mix with a little bit of honey if you don’t have vegetable capsules on hand.

Luscious Lips

Help plump up your pout by adding a drop or two to your favorite lip gloss!

Tummy Troubles

Make a roller with 10 drops of Peppermint and 10 drops of DiGize in a 10-ml roller bottle and top with a carrier oil. Roll on your abdomen any time tummy issues come up!

In the Kitchen

Add a drop of Peppermint oil to your favorite recipes! Peppermint oil carries a vitality label, signifying that it’s safe for ingestion. Whip up some quick, envy-worthy peppermint brownies by adding a drop or two to your favorite boxed brownie mix. People will think they’re homemade, but your secret is safe with us!

Diffuser Blends

Peppermint, Neat

Add 5-10 drops of Peppermint when you need to put a pep in your step or focus on the task at hand.

Seasonal Support

When the pollen count goes up outside, add 3-5 drops each of Peppermint, Lemon, and Lavender to help keep the sniffles away!

Candy Cane Dreams

Mix 3-5 drops of Peppermint with 3-5 drops of Stress Away for a yummy candy cane scent that’s perfect year-round, not just the holiday season!

When in Doubt, Think Citrus

Mix 3-5 drops of Peppermint with 3-5 drops of your favorite citrus oil for an uplifting scent. Pair it with Citrus Fresh or Lemon from your Starter Kit, or try it with Tangerine, Grapefruit or Orange from outside the kit!
